Sama-Sama Express KLIA Terminal 1 - Airside Transit Hotel

Despite experiencing some confusion over the location of the specific airport hotel we were booked in, the hotel was kind and compassionate enough to accommodate us in a very comfortable room that was worth considerably more than what we actually paid.

The directions to our specific hotel could have been clearer, as there are two separate terminals at KL airport and what we understood to be the location of our transit hotel. The airport could have better signage in that regard

Way too expensive for what it was. Smell of the room, not as clean as I thought. It's old.

Airside made the overnight transit between flights east. Hotel comfort and space exceeded expectations. Will utilise again.

Location and ease of check in

Not many TV channels and picture on TV was very blurry. Buffet dinner was also a bit limited so ended up at Grandmamas back in the terminal.

Noise. Not a lot but hallway noise as we were near the exit.

The hotel’s location inside the airport is very convenient, and the room is comfortable and suitable for a transit stay.

The price is quite high compared to similar airport hotels elsewhere. There was noticeable noise in the corridors from guests and housekeeping, to the point where it felt like someone might enter the room.The TV system was unusual and did not support any applications or screen-casting options, making it difficult to watch anything, which made a 12-hour transit quite boring.Finally, the placement of power outlets was not practical. For example, the kettle was not plugged into any socket, and I had to move it to be able to use it. The lighting in the room was also not ideal.

Super convenient location connected to the airport. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were well-maintained. Perfect for transit or short stays highly recommended!

Nobody answered my email . When I found out i cant go in until after immigration only which gives me less than an hour to stat i tried to request my accommodation be transferred to the sama sama hotel outside the airport. Nobody from booking to sama sama replied . Lounged food off limits. Should be part

The only positive experience we had was with the housekeeping staff, who were polite and helpful. Their service stood out in contrast to the rest of our experience.

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding our recent visit.Firstly, the service at reception was extremely unprofessional. The receptionist was rude and treated us very differently compared to other customers before us. This double standard in behavior made us feel unwelcome and, unfortunately, subjected to racism. A simple smile goes a long way in making guests feel valued, but in our case, we did not feel welcome at all.Secondly, the lunch buffet was very poor in both quality and variety. The options were extremely limited, and the experience offered zero value for the amount we paid. This was far below the standard we expected.Overall, both the service and the dining experience were deeply disappointing. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and make improvements so that future guests do not face the same experience.

I took buses all over the airport property at midnight could not find the hotel. No people to ask and few signs. Finally called a grab and follwing maps drove around to find the hotel. The grab driver did now find the property either at 1 am I checked into a sister property.

Location

Very comfy bed. Nice amenities. Amazing shower. Friendly and helpful staff. The last two times I booked here, I got mixed up with the dates and the staff assisted me in resolving it swiftly.

The toilet bowl is pretty small for a big guy like me. Location is quite a walking distance if you are coming from the farthest gate but nontheless, it's good exercise.

Very convenient, bed comfy, awesome shower. Provided tooth brushes nice touch. Water and tea and coffee and cookies provided. So glad we booked this for our 12hr stop over

Clear exit signs would be good, we did a lap of the whole floor looking for the exit.
